Jeff was introduced to the industry from a young age by his father, who showed him how to work with integrity and instilled a strong work ethic. Jeff recognized a unique opportunity to improve the automotive industry in 2019 and opened his first shop in Lantzville. Since then Precise has expanded to three shops in Nanaimo. Jeff is passionate about drag racing and working hard on Precise.

Mark has been with Precise Mechanical for four years and is the companies Office Manager. On his spare time Mark enjoys going on hikes, working out and playing billiards at the pool hall. He loves working in the automotive industry and is constantly seeking to expand his knowledge and expertise in this field.

Cam has over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry and has grown with Precise through hands-on leadership at our Terminal location. Now stepping into the role of Operations Manager, Cam plays a key part in overseeing shop performance, and supporting teams both in the office and in the shop. Outside of work, he enjoys dirt biking and racing drift cars, bringing the same focus and drive into everything he does.

Carter has been with Precise for three years and is nearing completion of his Finance degree. He is driven, eager to learn, and focused on growing with the company. He values Precise’s honesty with clients and the welcoming team culture. Outside of work, Carter enjoys golfing, playing guitar, spending time outdoors, and working on his dad’s Barracuda.

Meet Chase! Chase has been with Precise for several years and is a Service Advisor at our Jingle Pot location. With eight years of experience in the automotive industry, he brings strong, well-rounded customer service and vehicle knowledge to the team. When he’s not on dad duty, you can find him building his drift car or skateboarding. Chase appreciates how open the Precise team is to ideas and feedback and loves being part of a local, welcoming company.

Adam is a Red Seal technician at our East Wellington location with 14 years of experience in the automotive industry. Outside of work, he enjoys video games, dirt biking, motorcycles, music, and spending time offroading. Adam appreciates the people and positive work environment at Precise, and, of course, the free coffee.

Dylan is a technician at our East Wellington location with seven years of experience in the automotive industry. He has just completed his third year of schooling and is one year away from becoming a Red Seal technician. Dylan values the honesty Precise provides to clients and enjoys the positive team dynamic. Outside of work, he spends his time outdoors, at the rodeo or off-roading with friends.

Ben is currently in his third year, with one year remaining until he becomes a Red Seal mechanic. His favourite part about Precise is the people, the clients, the culture and figuring out complex diagnostic problems. Outside of work, Ben enjoys working on cars, training Brazilian jiu jitsu, and hanging out with friends.

Spencer is a Service Advisor at our Downtown location with 12 years of experience in the automotive industry. He began his career as a technician and holds his second-year technician ticket, giving him a strong technical foundation. Spencer appreciates that Precise has proven that value matters more than profits. He loves how it feels like an independent mom-and-pop shop while still having the resources of a larger business. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his mom, working out, swimming, volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nanaimo, and walking his dog.

Herb has been in the automotive industry for 44 plus years. His long career as an automotive technician brings a multitude of different expertise areas. When Herbs not working on vehicles he loves golfing, the gym and going on hikes. Some of Herbs favourite things about working at Precise is the atmosphere, the people and the culture. We’re grateful to have Herb on our team!!

Kael has worked in the automotive industry for the past five years and has just completed his schooling to become a Red Seal technician. He enjoys working on vehicles and values the honesty and transparency at Precise. Outside of work, Kael likes working on Japanese cars and mini trucks, as well as going on adventures with his girlfriend, who is on her way to becoming a pilot.

Ryker has been building his experience in the automotive industry over the past three years and is heading into his second year of technician training, working toward his Red Seal certification. He enjoys solving complex issues and has quickly become a key part of the shop, it truly wouldn’t be the same without him. Outside of work, enjoys working out, working on his dirt bike, and spending time in nature. He values the welcoming work environment at Precise and appreciates the mentorship from the team that has helped him grow and learn.

Meet Ayla! She’s a Service Advisor at our Applecross location with over 15 years of experience in the industry. When she’s not helping clients at the shop, you can find her mountain biking, soaking up live music, or cheering on her son at basketball tournaments across the island. Ayla recently got to see Benson Boon live with her son, a major highlight! She loves the energy of the team and being part of a company that values both work and life outside of it.

Josh began working in the automotive industry in 1996 and has been at Applecross for the past 25 years. Josh loves Precise for its incredible team and great work environment. In his spare time he works on vintage motorcycles, plays music and makes metal art. Josh is looking forwards to continuing years and years of service here.

James has been in the automotive industry for 9 years. James loves the attitude and the support of the Precise team and is excited to have found a career that inspires him to come to work every day. Outside of work, James is a former ski racer and has a passion for playing guitar, gardening and spending quality time with his family. Fun fact about James, he went to school with Drake in the 6.

Meet Jesse! He’s a Red Seal mechanic at our Applecross location with over six years of hands-on experience. Born in Courtenay and having lived all over the island, Jesse brings a well-rounded approach to every job. When he’s not wrenching, you’ll find him 4x4’ing, camping, or hanging out with his dog Nova. He once got told he looked like marbled cheese in high school, and honestly, he still laughs about it.

Leanne has been working in the automotive industry for the past 10 years. Outside of work, she enjoys motorbiking, playing tennis, paddleboarding, and exploring the Island for hidden gems. Leanne values Precise’s commitment to both clients and employees and is inspired by the company’s vision to raise industry standards and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Laurie has been a technician for over 32 years and brings a wealth of experience to the team. Outside of work, he enjoys archery, decorative knot tying, leather crafts, and braiding. Laurie values the great atmosphere at Precise and takes pride in going the extra mile, even working on vehicles on weekends, to ensure clients receive the best possible experience.

Meet Sergei! He’s a Red Seal mechanic with a deep passion for the trade, bringing years of experience from a classic car specialty shop on the mainland. Now part of our team, Sergei enjoys spending his time off with family and getting outdoors on his motorcycle or in his 4x4 Jeep.
